The activities of the department started on the 7th floor of TCB building, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka 1 in the same year after the enactment of the Consumer Rights Protection Act from April 6, 2009. February 24, 2015 The activities of this office started in Thakurgaon district with the participation of Assistant Director. The main objective of this office is to implement the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 and to create public awareness towards this Act. Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Administration Office is currently being used as the office of this office on the 4th floor.
